Re: JVC service or questions

We just purchased the JVC I'Art AV-30W475 HDTV and it's suffering from a horizontal line that distorts the picture as it travels down the screen (a scan line?). We live in an older house (1922) and fear that the old wiring is causing it (there are no appliances nearby--we've tried shutting everything off to no avail). The line is there with digital cable, dvd player, etc. We're wondering if there's some sort of filter we could install? Or something? Help please. -Christine
