Hi,
If formatting the disk does not work for anyone, according to the manual there is an internal battery that could be going bad. The problem is.. you can only get it from sony.
Thats where the repair shops are going to make the money on a cheap battery.

  I purchased the small CR2025 lithium 3v Sony batteries off the internet on EBay at a very resonable price.....
