Sony DCR_TRV310 - I get repeated C31:22 error codes.
Works OK for some tapes, not others. Does it need service. Is there a reset button anywhere - would this help?

  this is due to loss of reel pulse .
  
  in future it needs service (LS assembly must be teplaced or re conditioned)
