Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  I have a Sony DSC-S75 and I just received error message C:13:01 Format Error. I have several holiday pictures on this memory stick and would love any info that could lead to their recovery. Thanks!

  My BetaMachine gives me an error21-1C1. It only plays big tapes and not small tapes. Please Help :(

    Saw your posting regarding this error message, however, my machine (a Sony Betacam SP 1600) does the exact opposite. It plays smaller tapes and not the larger ones. How did you end up resolving this? Thanks in advance.

  My GR-DVL520U is telling me to clean the head, I already clean usin a tape TDK MiniDV Head Cleaner, I ran it lot of time but is still dirty, then I use alcohol with cotton and is still dirty.

    NEVER use "cotton" on video...or audio heads, for that matter. Use chamois tipped sticks! Try canned air.

    I too am having the C:31:22 error messages appear on my Sony DCR-TRV900. As suggested in the manual, I have replaced the battery and the tapes several times but the message continues to come up. Sometimes the camera may play for a moment or two before displaying the message, but most times as soon as I turn it on, either in the camera or VTR area, it displays the C:31:22 error message.     I have just gotten the c:31:22 error code also on my TRV900. What was the solution to the problem? Have you received any assistance with it yet? I would be appreciative of any help. THanks

    this is due to loss of reel pulse . in future it needs service (LS assembly must be teplaced or re conditioned)
