I have a Sony DCR-TRV120. I'm getting error code C:31:22. Sony advised to remove pwr for 30 secs then pwr on. That works for a few mins or less, then the code returns. They want $269 to repair it. Can this be repaired myself? I'm very competent in electronic repairs. thanks,

  yes..however it will cost you initially. i took mine to sony in thailand, in chaing mai. there was a minimum charge that was 20 quid. thats what they charged me
