HI I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN HELP OR NOT,WE HAVE A ECLIPSE 5331 AND WE HAVE THE CODE C.D,BUT THE HELP LIGHT IS ON.WE LOAD THE C.D AND NOTHING HAPPENS.CAN NOT TURN POWER OFF.HAVE TRYED UNHOOKING POWER AND NOTHING THE HELP LIGHT JUST COMES ON. Ha haaa !! It worked !!!!!! A good slap on the tape side of the cam, and no more codes, finally can playback my old tapes and record them to dvd !! A BIG thank you for this method !!!!!!!

I have a Sony DCR-HC90 Handycam. I keep geeting an error code of E:61:11 or E:61:00. When I get this error, the camera cannot autofocus and seems to try to focus using the zoom switch. The viewfinder will flicker and the camera will make a continuous clicking noise. I am on vacation, with no Sony service available. Any ideas? Many thanks!
