Re: JVC service GR-DVP3U camcorder

Ihave a JVC GR-DVP3U. I get error EO3. Blinking alternately "unit in safeguard mode" and " remove and reattach battery". Neither will it eject the tape when opened, gears turn and jerk, that's all.
Snapshot mode still works to take still images to memory card.

  I have the Same issue but my tape won't slide down and is stuck in the trap with the gate open and i can't even get the tape out, It's also giving me the Safe Guard mode thing did you ever figure out how to fix it?
