A call for help from Holland.
I own a (fantastic)Sony DCR-TRV8E Pal camcorder. This model is more than 5 years old by now. In former years on a very rare basis I encountered the C:31:22 error code just a few times.
I could erradicate the problem by inserting (any)other DV-tape and then the intitial tape once again.
By now, however, the same code appears with almost every tape I insert in the camera. (No matter what brand of tape I use.)
Solving the problem is not as easy as it used to be before:
It sometimes takes ten to fifteen times of changing tapes, cutting the power etc. in order to, maybe, get the camera back into an operating modus.
Help!
I don't want to part from this wonderful camera, but I wouldn't want to spend a lot of money on an "old" machine like this either . . .
