Re: JVC service or questions

My JVC TV is not responding to my universal remote. This happened all of a sudden about a week ago. I'm using an universal remote. I've replaced the batteries, attempted to reset the universal code for a JVC television to no avail. I've also notice that the set lock code displays a locked symbol when I go through the menu screen when using the menu button (in addition to the channel keys) on the front of the T.V.

I'm tempted to just go out and purchase a new universal remote but am weary of the set lock symbol I'm seening. I don't remember ever setting any set lock code in this T.V.

Can you help?
