Re: JVC service or questions

We just got a used JVC VHSC GR-AXM225 but the battery is dead. And it didnt come with the manual. The only question i hove is about the litle switch on the battery. one way it is plain the other way there is a red dot. what does that switch mean and what setting does it have to be on to charge the battery? We are afraid to test it because we dont know it it could harm the battery if it not right. Can you help?

  You can get the user guide off the JVC web sit. The tab on the battry is fot you to setup. example: if you have 5 battaries, three are used and to are good.
  On the three that need charging you can set the tab to Red (or Black) and the two that still have charge to Black (or Red). This way you know which one are charged and which ones are not. hope this helps
