    Hi Ms. Sample,
    Can help with the following?
The remote control for the JVC DR-MV1S (dvd/vhs recorder)is supposed to be able to be able to control even non-JVC devices that might be hooked up to the unit. The manual gives instructions and listings of different vendors and their corresponding "control code" for each vendor's devices. For both my cable box (1 yr old) and my TV (5 yrs old), the codes don't seem to work. I'd at least expect the newer cable box code to work, but no-go. Additionally, as recommended, i punched in all vendor codes in an attempt to get my devices to respond, still no go. That leaves the possibility that the instructions might be faulty. For instance, the instructions say "keep pressing down Setup (while pressing down the number keys to enter control codes)". It seems to suggest doing this even when pressing the Enter key, though that seems a bit counter-intuitive considering how the unit works in every other aspect/mode. I've tried changing the sequence of key-presses accordingly, but maybe there's something else along these lines that I haven't tried?

    thanks in advance

We just got a used JVC VHSC GR-AXM225 but the battery is dead. And it didnt come with the manual. The only question i hove is about the litle switch on the battery. one way it is plain the other way there is a red dot. what does that switch mean and what setting does it have to be on to charge the battery? We are afraid to test it because we dont know it it could harm the battery if it not right. Can you help?

You can get the user guide off the JVC web sit. The tab on the battry is fot you to setup. example: if you have 5 battaries, three are used and to are good. On the three that need charging you can set the tab to Red (or Black) and the two that still have charge to Black (or Red). This way you know which one are charged and which ones are not. hope this helps

The pictures taken with my JVC GR-DVM70 is blurred and grainy. The bright bar moves only some times. when using the menu the wheel skips some times and doesn't move at other time. I have changed the settings and also used everything at auto still the same results. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My JVC KD-S640 keeps ejecting CD without playing it. Tried resetting per the instructions in the manual with no luck.
Tried different CDs without success. Found you on www.pechorin.com

I have a JVC GR-D90U camera. I am receiving a LENS CAP message when I turn the camera on. I can record no video or still shots. This unit has been used less the 6 hours total.
