Hi, the VCR remote for our Sony Model #SLV-N88 has never worked properly, the battery contacts constantly unconnect! Anywhere I can get another remote model #RMT-V402B for less than the $40 Sony wants?

  I just saw your post from 2 years ago about a Sony V402B remote for an SLV-N88 VCR. I'm having very similar problems with mine and want to replace it. I just started looking again, and I can't even find one on the Sony web site any more. Did you ever find one?
