Re[2]: C:13:01 Disk Error on Sony Mavica FD-71 Possible Solutions

I got the error 13 01 format message on my Mavica, I tried reformatting the disk and I can take a picture, but then I get a horrible noise and the error message comes again. Has anyone found a solution for this? Help!! This is the second Mavica I have had this happen to!!
