Re: C:13:01 Disk Error on Sony Mavica FD-71 Possible Solutions

I have tried all the solutions on this page and I finally got the format error to disappear when first accessing the disk, but then after taking a picture, it makes a terrible noise like the turning of the disk is not working properly. Any suggestions.

    Hi: There is info submitted by Cameron Boyd at the bottom of webpage at this address: http://www.atpm.com/4.12/page11.shtml I ran across it looking for info on Sony Mavica MVc-FD200. It is specifically about the 13.01 disk error. Hope it helps you.

  I got the error 13 01 format message on my Mavica, I tried reformatting the disk and I can take a picture, but then I get a horrible noise and the error message comes again. Has anyone found a solution for this? Help!! This is the second Mavica I have had this happen to!!
