I just came across the same problem with my DVP-NC600. It showed error code E:27 00. When I took it apart to find the problem, it's only the drive belt that broke. I'm currently looking for a new drive belt.

I have the E2700 code, but haven't taken it apart yet. Is it worth repairing?
