Hey I just purchased a car and it came with a 6-disc Clarion changer. It took some time for the previous owner to final get me the cartridge. We she finally gave it to me she told me it had been having some problems, problems meaning it does not work. After putting in the cartridge with the cd, my display says Er-2. after a few seconds of trying to "find" any cd's. Now I cannot get the cartridge out. Any help you could give me would be highly appreciated. Thanks. I have to have my music! The radio is broken so it is either fix this or not have my tunes. Thanks again

  Jordan- I have the same exact problem. It is a Clarion RDC634. It reads er 2 and the cartridge wont come out. I tried switching the actual player out with another one and the same thing happens. I wonder if the cartridge is bad. I think my next step will be to switch that out.
  Please let me know if you find a solution!

    I cannot even get my cartridge out now. I talked to a friend who knows about this sort of thing and he says it would be cheaper to just buy a new one. But I will still shop around, if I could get it fixed for a decent price (or do it myself) I would sure like to.

      I have the same problem with the CLarion rdc634 6 disk cd changer the error message is er 2 and the cartridge wont come out if anyone has a solution besides a hammer or replacing it please post it on here or email me at i_am_god_7@hotmail.com thank you and this is to the other ppl who posted on here how did you fix yours?

  I had a similaar problem, couldn't get the out cartridge. Can't remember exactly but as far as I can recall, I used 2 credit card to eject the cartridge. I put one credit card above the cartridge, and one below and I pushed them in lightly at the same and then it popped out. Dead easy.
  
  The clarion dealer gave me a quote of $80 to remove the cartridge. Never went back to that guy.

  I had a similar problem with a Clarion RDC634 I got off eBay. The shipping had shifted the plastic sleeves in the cartridge so that they became jamed in the player. I took apart the player and removed the sleeves then plugged it in to eject the cartridge. It started working but now I get an error 6... oh well.
