Assistance for Error Codes

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  Hey I just purchased a car and it came with a 6-disc Clarion changer. It took some time for the previous owner to final get me the cartridge. We she finally gave it to me she told me it had been having some problems, problems meaning it does not work. After putting in the cartridge with the cd, my display says Er-2. after a few seconds of trying to "find" any cd's. Now I cannot get the cartridge out. Any help you could give me would be highly appreciated. Thanks. I have to have my music! The radio is broken so it is either fix this or not have my tunes. Thanks again

    Jordan- I have the same exact problem. It is a Clarion RDC634. It reads er 2 and the cartridge wont come out. I tried switching the actual player out with another one and the same thing happens. I wonder if the cartridge is bad. I think my next step will be to switch that out. Please let me know if you find a solution! -Seth

      I cannot even get my cartridge out now. I talked to a friend who knows about this sort of thing and he says it would be cheaper to just buy a new one. But I will still shop around, if I could get it fixed for a decent price (or do it myself) I would sure like to.

    Hi All, I had a similaar problem, couldn't get the out cartridge. Can't remember exactly but as far as I can recall, I used 2 credit card to eject the cartridge. I put one credit card above the cartridge, and one below and I pushed them in lightly at the same and then it popped out. Dead easy. The clarion dealer gave me a quote of $80 to remove the cartridge. Never went back to that guy. Paul

    I had a similar problem with a Clarion RDC634 I got off eBay. The shipping had shifted the plastic sleeves in the cartridge so that they became jamed in the player. I took apart the player and removed the sleeves then plugged it in to eject the cartridge. It started working but now I get an error 6... oh well.

  I have a Sony TR7000 that had the moisture code come on all of a sudden when I was loading a tape. There was no moisture and it has been open in dry air for about 5 hours now and it still is showing C:21:00. Any suggestions? Thanks, Craig

      Hi, I saw your postings about the C:21:00 code. I have the same problem did you find some fix for it? I do not have any moisture.The camera will not load the tape. Have any suggestions? THX

  I PURCHASED AN HP 735 PHOTOSMART CAMERA FOR OUR LOCAL SPECIAL OLYMPICS ORGANIZATION. I LIKE MANY OTHERS (AS FOUND IN CAMERA FORUMS) HAVE GOTTEN AN ERROR MESSAGE 106 (WHICH I BELIEVE THAT THE ZOOM LENS IS EXTENDED AND IT IS!)
  THE CAMERA RIGHT NOW IS ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS BECAUSE IT WILL NOT REMAIN IN A "POWER ON" STATE - LET ALONE THE LENS RETRACTING. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT ONE CAN DO TO CORRECT THIS SITUATION, SHORT OF SENDING IT BACK TO HP FOR REPAIR - IT IS STILL UNDER A ONE-YEAR WARRANTY. OTHER FORUM INDIVIDUALS CLAIM THAT THIS CONDITION KEEPS COMING AND GOING, WHY CAN'T HP DO A "REAL FIX"?

      I just bought the 735 on eBay and see that the firmware update is for Windows only...I have a Mac. Too late to get out of the sale. Does anyone know if a "Windows friend" would be able to install the firmware update for me?!!?!? I'm shivering in my boots thinking I made the wrong decision to buy the thing.     Hello.....I just got the same exact problem except no 106 error.....I called hp today and I have had my camera 735 for 1 1/2 years and the only thing they would offer is to send me one that has been refurbished for $114.00.....so my advice to you so you don't get messed around like I did is send it in or you will be searching for a new camera like I am!!!   I HAVE A SONY DCR-TRV230 THAT IS NOW DISPLAYING AN ERROR CODE C3211. YOUR HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED. ALSO AN IMPORTANT TAPE ( WEDDING ) IS STUCK INSIDE.

  Hi - In a desperate attempt to find information on the H03 error message, I found you! I have a Panasonic portable DVD player LS50 that has this HO3 error message. We have only used this DVD once on a long 10 hour plane ride and now it won't work. It is less than a year old. According to Panasonic it needs to be sent in for repair. I called one of the service centers and they say it is a burned out laser and will cost $200 to repair. Unbelievable! I paid over $600 for this dang unit with all the extra batteries and converters we needed. Any help is appreciated. I will never buy another portable DVD player again! I'm furious that they can make such an expensive product that gives out so quickly. Thanks.

  i hope you can help me. i have a 8mm sony camcorder and lost the book for it. when it comes on it flashes some little symbol at the bottom of the veiw finder screen. the symbol goes away but it will not record. it says it is, but the red light in front wont light up and nothing is on tape. it wont play any other tapes either. if you can help you would make me very happy!
