i hope you can help me. i have a 8mm sony camcorder and lost the book for it. when it comes on it flashes some little symbol at the bottom of the veiw finder screen. the symbol goes away but it will not record. it says it is, but the red light in front wont light up and nothing is on tape. it wont play any other tapes either. if you can help you would make me very happy!
