Re: Error Codes Assistance

I have a Sony Handycam DCR-PC4E Mini Digital Camcorder.
It has the fault No 31.30,I have put a tape in but I cannot close the lid and and start recording.
Can you or other persons help me with this problem,I would be very grateful.

  I had to take my battery out and put it back in...
  once I put my charged battery back in it seemed to reset
