Re: JVC service or questions

Ned Posted Jun 06, 2005, in response to:Stacy Sample

Hi, i bought a 45min record time JVC VHSc blank tape to be used on my video cam. After using it fully twice, the maximum record time I got was only 30mins =( does the set-up fro the video cam or the model of the cam has something to do with the tape? And are there any JVC VHSC/SVHSC blank tapes which I can record at least 60mins of video? Thanks a lot.

I believe there may be a menu setting which asks which length of tape you are trying to use. IF it is set on 30 minutes...it may only record 30 minutes on a 45 min tape. Check your menu setting and your operational manual. AS for longer tapes --- Go to JVC.com and utilize the "accessory store" to research tape types and lengths. If there is one available for 60 minutes--it should be listed
