Re: JVC service or questions

I recently plugged in the wrong charger to my JVC grd-30 camcorder, it started blinking like it was charging and then it quit, and it won't even come on anymore. Did I blow a fuse or just blow it up??

There is a good chance you blew a fuse. The fuses are soldered onto the main board of the camcorder. A JVC or authorized JVC technician would be best to repair that for you. It should not be more than 1-2 fuses and 1 hour labor as long as the main board was not shorted out in the process. Try to find your nearest JVC factory or authorized JVC DV service center. Make sure if it is not a JVC factory center the technician you find is JVC "DV" authorized.
