I have a DCR-TRV350. It has` developed a nasty habit with some tapes (HI8). Symptoms are that some tapes will not seat all the way in and back when inserted, thus not allowing the top door to close completely. On these tapes that will seat all of the in, the unit beeps and produces an error code reading C31:40. If there is something that you can direct on clearing these i would be very grateful,. As it now stands when the codes are active I can neither reveiw the tapes nor am i able to record any further. Please direct me if you can. Thank you.
