Assistance for Error Codes

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  I paid $175.00 to have my Sony camcorder fixed and 6 months later it is doing the same thing. Any ideas?

  hello i have a samsung home cinema that is just out of warrenty and everytime i switch it on a err message appears "protection" then the machine switches off htdd 120 is the model number cheers hope u can help

  IT SEEMS THE E-99 ERROR CODE IS COMMON . IS THERE A FIX ?
  THE CASSETTE DECK AND CHANGER ARE A MATCHED SET .
  THERE'S POWER AT THE CHANGER AND EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS FINE .
  CAN YOU HELP ME OUT AND IS THERE A OWNERS MANUAL AVAILABLE ?

  I am getting an error message on my Sony CDX-A55 10 disc changer. The error I keep getting is E-04. This started happening gradually. I would put in my discs and a couple of them would get the message, I would change to another disc and it would be fine. Now, it is not playing anything, it just keeps giving me this error.
  
  Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

  Please help I have a 1999 pontiac grand prix and when i try to play cd's it comes up with a e23 or e20 error code. Went to the dealer they said entire radio and cd player has to be replaced I am tring to find another option. please help or direct me to someone who can. Thanks Amy

    E20 : Focus Error Cause(s): The CD player cannot focus on the disc or there is an internal focus problem. Correction(s): Try cleaning the disc or using a new disc. Make sure the disc is loaded correctly. The road could be too rough or there is too much humidity." Don't take it to a shop of course they will tell you to replace the radio...always do a internet search first.

      Hey Jon, First, let me thank you for your response, however I have used a CD Cleaner several times to attempt to illeviate the problem. I have also waited for the car to cool down thinking that the heat may be causing some issues. As far as using a new "cleaner" CD. That did not work either. Again, thanks for the reponse and please let me know if you can come up with any additional information. It may end up that I will have to travel to a salvage yard and pick up a radio from a unit there. Sincerely, Amy

    I am having the same problem. I try to insert a CD into my 1999 Grand Prix and the error Code E20 comes up and ejects the CD. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks, Rich

  I have a DCR-TRV350. It has` developed a nasty habit with some tapes (HI8). Symptoms are that some tapes will not seat all the way in and back when inserted, thus not allowing the top door to close completely. On these tapes that will seat all of the in, the unit beeps and produces an error code reading C31:40. If there is something that you can direct on clearing these i would be very grateful,. As it now stands when the codes are active I can neither reveiw the tapes nor am i able to record any further. Please direct me if you can. Thank you.

  I own a rear screen projection TV-Sony KP-53HS10. I have no picture or sound and the diagnostic blinks steady. I have been told that it is my D board. Does anyone have some input on this and is the board hard to replace.
