Re: JVC service or questions

greetings
i am looking for a manual for a JVC GR-SXM250U. I need to turn off the display, but can't find a menu or other button to disable it. it currently shows a tape image in the upper left corner, "TBC" below it and on the right side of screen it shows "SP" and the play arrow with the lapsing time count below it. how do i remove the display of info over the image? thanks.
