Re: SONY ORIGINAL PARTS

Mark Montierth - 6th Oct 2005 17:08

Wow, so glad I stumbled on to you on the net. My daughter somehow shorted the i.link port on my TRV27. It blew out the board in my PC (easily replaced) but when I contacted Sony they want $269 to repair it! Ridiculous! Do you have or now how I could get a "dead/broken" trv27 (or I assume a TRV16, 18 or 25) to do a little dissect and replace. Or can the I/O board just be purchased an replaced. Do you have any ideas?

Thanks SO much,

Mark
