Hello I have the JVC DR-MV1 DVD/VHS Burner/Player/Recorder System. The problem I'm trying to find a solution for is that the DVD drive will "Read & Play" any DVD's that I have made with the DVD Burner itself just fine. When I try to play any professionally made DVD the machine says "Reading" & the DVD Icon on the display rotates normally but this process goes on for several minutes. After it finally does quit "Reading" the DVD the display shows "Disc Error". I have tried several different DVD's that were new & had no visable faults at all with them. Reguardless, they all went through the same process I just mentioned & didn't play or let me access anything at all on the disc. I really hope you or someone might have saw this problem before because I'm sure you're aware that this unit is awfully nice & expensive to have it screw up to the point of not being useable when I rarely play DVD's but burn more of them than anything, but even my burning isn't at all excessive.
