If the device can not be found make sure that the service that runs the cam in windows (lcoms or lvcoms) is running in your task manager. Otherwise you will have to use the cam software to take a picture. If that does not work check your device manager to make sure the cam is installed properly and that it is fuly functional. if that is ok then unisntal the samera from the device manager, restart, reisntal lteh cam and restart again and see if that takes care of the problem. bad drivers can cause lots of prblems.
