I have a JVC GR-D33 Camcorder for the last few days I am observing a problem with the product, When in A mode or M mode (camera modes) no image appears on the viewfinder or screen (The camcorder was idle for nearly 2 months and it was not charged).

The camcorder is not able to read any image. When set to the camera modes, it says "Remove lens cap" for the first 5 seconds. This happens even when the lens cap is removed and then the camera is turned on.
However playback works fine, when the camera is set to the Play mode.

Please help

As I am from INDIA (Bangalore) I would like to know the service centres near my place.

    I am seeing the same problem with my gr d33 now. We last used it about a week back. Appreciate any info on the problem/solution.
