Dennis Casey - 19th Feb 2006 2:05 I have a JVC model number GR-M7 camcorder it is about 12 years old and it still works great but now after I record anything and play it back on my VCR the audio has a loud humming sound. Do you have any idea what this may be? Let me know when you have a chance. Thanks. Dennis

I have a JVC GR-D33 Camcorder for the last few days I am observing a problem with the product, When in A mode or M mode (camera modes) no image appears on the viewfinder or screen (The camcorder was idle for nearly 2 months and it was not charged).
The camcorder is not able to read any image. When set to the camera modes, it says "Remove lens cap" for the first 5 seconds. This happens even when the lens cap is removed and then the camera is turned on. However playback works fine, when the camera is set to the Play mode.
Please help
As I am from INDIA (Bangalore) I would like to know the service centres near my place.
Thanks in advance.

Dorraine Thompson - 20th Feb 2006 23:53 JVC compact recorder # GR-AXM341U. Approximately 2 years old. Still have stickers stuck on the sides. Unit will not turn on; power light not on; battery charged. This problem first started with decreased filming time off of the battery then gradually escalated from new batteries until the last battery bought Dec 21, 2005 along with a new charging unit did not power the video recorder at all. I would like to make this thing let go of my tape that's been in lockup for several months. I've had battery msg's and clean head msg's. I have followed thru with fixing these msg's. This unit is barely used, it's stored inside of the house in a cabinet. What's wrong????? D. Thompson

JVC Model 32750 when powered up red monitoring light comes on for split second then nothing happens- TV goes quite. Read about a C926 cap. Is this cap a likely culpret? Is the cap easily replaced? Can you sell me the cap? Does a schematic exists to assist me locating cap? Anybody in San Antonio,Texas you would recommend taking whole TV in for fix? Any help given is appricated-THANKS

Jason - 21st Feb 2006 3:56 I hooked my newly acquired JVC GR-D90U up to my Windows XP (SP2) machine the other day, through the Firewire port on an Audigy 2 Soundblaster card. The result? No luck. I tried every fix I could find by browsing forums where people were having the same issue... and still no luck.
I knew that my port worked, after using several Nikon DSLR's on it, and I knew the camera and cable worked, after transferring successfully to my Mac. Mac's just seem to have better luck when it comes to IEEE compatibility though.
I remembered something from my days in Nikon tech support. IEEE devices on Windows machines can sometimes be very picky about the chipset of the IEEE 1394 Host Controller. Knowing that my Audigy used a TI chipset, I decided to go out and buy an IEEE 1394 PCI card with an NEC chipset.
Installed it, plugged in the camera - and it now works every time. The solution here is almost assuredly to find a Firewire PCI card with an NEC chipset.
Best of luck!

Christopher - 21st Feb 2006 15:59 Hi I have a JVC AV-36D502 and the problem is that there are lines/wave going across the screen diagonally form top right to bottom left and vice versa. It is most noticable on darker settings. What can be done to rectify this?
Thank you for you help

Mail returned when using name in red, however does this fault disappear when you remove the aerial, as if it does, then your TV is picking up RF interference from some source.
