Re: JVC service or questions

JVC compact recorder # GR-AXM341U. Approximately 2 years old. Still have stickers stuck on the sides. Unit will not turn on; power light not on; battery charged. This problem first started with decreased filming time off of the battery then gradually escalated from new batteries until the last battery bought Dec 21, 2005 along with a new charging unit did not power the video recorder at all. I would like to make this thing let go of my tape that's been in lockup for several months. I've had battery msg's and clean head msg's. I have followed thru with fixing these msg's. This unit is barely used, it's stored inside of the house in a cabinet. What's wrong????? D. Thompson
