Hi I'm have the same problem with my AV-48wp30 The problem is that I'm unable to adjust my vertical settings on the #1 spot. If you or any knows what maybe the problem please e-mail me. Also please foward a copy of the service manual. THanks Troy

    Check your e-mail . I sent you the manual. Remove the convergence board and check IC804 and IC805 (STK 392-110). These are the convergence outputs and have a high failure rate. If you replace them, do replace both of them and it would also be wise to upgrade to an STK 392-150. The STK 392-150 will run a lot cooler. Also, check all the 1 watt and 2 watt resistors on the convergence board for overheating. This is indicated by a dark ring on the body. If you have an ohmmeter and can check their actual resistance, better yet. Eric
