Re[3]: JVC service or questions

Hi, my Jvc 32in television does not have a manuel. My screen has a picture, but over the picture ia a black screen over it. What is all that about? I cannot figure out what is wrong with it and I,m sorry I do not know the model number. I know its a (D) series model and I think the year is 2000.

  I have a JVC and I have tried the fix; however, on my Closed Caption, I do not have the option of turning it off. The only options I have for Closed Caption are: CC1 - CC4.
  
  Any suggestions to get the black box from the screen.
