Re: JVC service or questions

I have a JVC AV-27D104. It has a problem where the "picture" control doesn't adjust making the TV very dark...like looking through fog. I take the back off and it starts working, I put the back back on and it stops working, making the picture dark again. Suspect it is a bad solder joint or cracked run but don't know where to start looking. Any ideas?
