Re: JVC service or questions

I have had a AV-20CM6/AV television for several years. Great machine.

For a long time, the number of the channel I am watching appeared in the upper right hand corner of the screen---a feature I liked.

Then it changed. The number appears for a few seconds and disappears.

I have nearly worn the instruction book out, trying to see how to reverse this, but I am stumped.

Can you help me?

How can I restore the channel number to the screen?

  Hey,
  This has been a great little tv for us too.
  My daughter has the same model tv, but we have no maunal at all.
  Was trying to find a pdf on line but to no avail :(
  
  Sorry I cant help you, but I also have a problem. She recently moved to pittsburgh and the channels we programed were for our area.
  She does not have cable there, so I tried programming some new channels.
  
  I used the function button, cable or air, but the up and down arrows only switch me between cable and antenna. I can not search for new channels to add.
  
  Either I have forgotten how to add channels or the feature is no longer working.
  
  Can someone help?
  The model is JVC AV-20CM6
