Re: JVC service or questions

Hello,
I have a JVC projection TV model # AV50D501, serial # 10592070 that's about 6 years old, it has been working fine up to a couple weeks ago when I hooked up an Emerson dvd/vcr combo to it. Prior to that it always had the JVC dvd player, my tv set started jumping and making loud noises, and later on no picture, just snowy and loud noise. I tried to reprogram all the channels one at a time, but it keeps on deleting them every time. I called my cable provider, and they claim it is the TV and not the cable. What else can I do before I call a JVC service provider?
