Error Code 0280 - I saw your name on this site!!!

Hi,
I saw that you can assist me with error codes...My name is Riza and i was wondering whether you could help me with an error code 0280 on my hitachi dz-mv580A dvd cam.

  I am having the same problem with my camcorder i was wondering if you have found out the answer to the error code. I have called everyone and no one knows what is. the panasonic company is blaming my disc company and so on. I would love some info if you have any thanks KIM

  Did you ever find anything on that error code. Im getting the 0280 and a 2881. Im so frustrated with it. We lost a lot of valuable filming because it won't even let you finalize or anything. I've been on the phone with Hitachi and 3 different people told me 3 different things. None of them work. They said it was a bad disc and i should be using Maxell discs.     I sent the unit to the manufacturer... However i successfully recovered the data using a program called isobuster pro which is the fullversion.
