Re: Error Codes Assistance

Recently in our control room, our lone beta deck (Sony Betacam SP UVW-1800) started giving us an error message (error 21-1C1) whenever we attempt to load a large beta tape in. Small beta tapes work fine, only when big tapes are attempted to insert, the deck spits it right back out with the error message.

Any ideas? We'd like to be able to troubleshoot and fix the deck ourselves if at all possible.

  i am getting this error msg as well (Error21-1C1) on my uvw 1800 when loading large format betas, did you get a fix for the problem?

    Hello, I'm also getting error 21-1C1 on my UVW-1800 whenever I put in a big Beta tape...does anyone know what that error means?

  Having the same problem as the others...small tapes work fine
  in UVW 1800 but large tapes kick back with error code. Any advice?
