Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  Recently in our control room, our lone beta deck (Sony Betacam SP UVW-1800) started giving us an error message (error 21-1C1) whenever we attempt to load a large beta tape in. Small beta tapes work fine, only when big tapes are attempted to insert, the deck spits it right back out with the error message.
  
  Any ideas? We'd like to be able to troubleshoot and fix the deck ourselves if at all possible.

    i am getting this error msg as well (Error21-1C1) on my uvw 1800 when loading large format betas, did you get a fix for the problem? thanks for any help

      Hello, I'm also getting error 21-1C1 on my UVW-1800 whenever I put in a big Beta tape...does anyone know what that error means?

    Having the same problem as the others...small tapes work fine in UVW 1800 but large tapes kick back with error code. Any advice?

  PLEASE COULD YOU HELP I HAVE A SONY CDX-52 10 DISC CHANGER THAT KEEPS COMING UP WITH E-99 ERROR IT IS RUNNING THROUGHT A CHRYSLER RADIO/CASS IN A DODGE CARAVAN EVERY TIME YOU TRY TO TURN IT ON THE RADIO BLANKS OUT FOR A COUPLE OFF SECONDS THEN IT COMES ON AGAIN AND THE CHANGER TURNS OFF.

  Hi.
  I have a sony camcorder DCR-HC14E and i have error code c:31:44 unable to use camera as grey screen only. Able to use player though. I have cleaned the video heads.

  It is giving the error message E61:00

  I have a sony betacam sp deck model: UVW-1800
  with the error code 02-674. It had a tape stuck in it
  but I got the tape out. Any ideas on how I get rid of
  the code so I can use the deck again?

  On my SONY camcorder DCR-TRV10, I get this code: C:31:40. This only happens when I insert a miniDV casette. It works fine when I use memory stick for stills.

  I have a customer with an error on a sony ccdtrv43. It changes periodically from c3220 c3120 c3100 c3200 c3210 and so on. It funtions until you put a tape in then it quits working. Also, it won't eject the tape. I have to take out the battery and put it back in several times before it will eject. And then funtions properly again. Any ideas? Please email back.
