Re: JVC service or questions

I bought a BN-VF733 battery for my Everio G GZ-MG21u camcorder.I attached it to my camera, plugged in the power cable and waited for 24 hours. When I turn on the camera the screen shows a diagram of a battery and a camera with arrows pointing to each and an 'x' in the middle. Above that diagram are the words "communicating error". I pushed the 'reset' button and that didn't fix the problem. Is there a fix for this?
