Re[3]: Error Codes Assistance

I wanted to chime in and say THANK YOU because my Sony handy Cam TRV-350 is now working again. I had the same error code C 31 22 (after traveling in an airplane with camera in the luggage) and tried the slapping trick to no avail. I even threw it against the carpet. Then I read about this black bushing and sleeve and did find that they were loose and on the floor! Took some time to reassemble those parts as I had to take part of the cover off to get inside, but upon putting those back on (2nd metal prong from lens side) and hitting reset after "boot up", the camera worked.

So, thanks a million for saving me a trip to the store for a new camcorder!

  Thanks a lot for the suggestion. After I replaced the black bush, it worked. In my version of the camcorder, it was the second from the view finder side.
