i hv been facing an errorcode in ricoh ft 4822 e-5 sub code is 47 can u help in rectifing or resetting? thermal fuse is blown i hv changed it to an soldering lead as i didnt hv thermal fuse ur reply is anticipated thks cherry.

  if the lamps are fine and the thermal fuses are fine it must be reset by entering the service program mode on the machiene--- cancel 1 0 7 stop {held in for a few seconds} then 5 # then 810 # then 1 # turn the machiene off then back on while the front cover is open
  
  close the front cover for about 5 seconds then open it again
  see if the fusing unit is warmer if it is the problem is solved!

    thank you, i have taken ur advice it was resett problem, now its working fine thanks once again. there is a brand new canon image class 2300 copier, there is message says PRINTER COVER OPEN" inspite of 2 swicthes in good working condition as well as i have resett printer this message dosent go nor the machine dosent work. i have changed the main PCB even then the error is same( the PBC below, on the base next to power supply board) what could be the reason? is it a manufactures defect? this machine is made in china brought from US. plz give a remedy for this thanks cherry.....
