Re: Convergence problems on AV-48WP30

Otis PB Posted Dec 29, 2006, in response to:Mark Venable

I'm having the EXACT same problem on an AV56WP74 (56" iArt). The Green and Blue looks fine, but the Red is unable to converge horizontally. Any help (schematics, etc.) would be great. Thanks! Also has anyone else tried complaining to JVC? I did, but so far have been totally ignored. JVC has yet to even reply. It seems to me that if all of us are having the same problem JVC manufactured a defective product.

vI had a problem with my TV colors not lining up. One day I turned it on and the green was out of wack. I checked this message board and replaced the STK chips, bad soldering and all led to me just giving up on that and buying a whole new Convergence Board ($185). I replaced the missing silver box on the new board and I just plugged this in and though now my Green lines up okay, my red is out of whack. Is there something I am doing wrong? Can anyone help me? Did i miss a step? Frustrated......Bruce
