I am also having problems with my red. The blue and green work fine were as my red is coming out scrambled. If this is the same problem I will be glad to crack her open and perform surgery. I went to the site that was listed by Nicole. The only discrepancy I had noticed was the guide and schematic were for model# AV-65WP74, I have an AV-48WP30. Are there any differences that I may need to know between these two models, if not I'll begin the transplant. Thank you, mike@cyfr.com

I do not know how to fix this problem but I am in a very similar situation... We have the same model tv except we cannot adjust the red crosses horizontally... the blues are all fine but the red vertically is way off causing our screen to produce almost double images... if you have repaired your problem or know of how to... please respond... thanks

I have a AV-48WP43 I looked on JVC parts site and the 30 and 34 have the same board. can I please get the convergence info evryone has been speaking about, I have wavy red convergence. Also I noticed that on one post it said the 110's were replaced for 150's, I dont have 110' but I do have 150's (resistors), any reason for this???

I have replaced the chips, but now the overall height of the picture is too high on the screen. What is the best way to adjust it down?

Hello everyone. I am also having the same red convergence problems with the JVC AV-48WP30. Could someone please email me the schematics and/or manual or a guide to replacing the 110 part with the STK392-150 part. I read that when going to the 150 part, there is also a resistor change. Any help with be appreciated. Thanks

I picked up a 48wp30 from a friend, has similiar convergance issues to what everyone is describing. I don't have the manual, so I'm not sure how to actually adjust the convergance via the on screen menu. I can select it, adjust the vertical convergance (but not the horizontal), but it does not seem to 'save' the adjustment. Not sure if I am doing anything incorrectly, once I 'adjust' the convergance none of the buttons on my remote seem to save and take me back to the menu, hitting the menu button does nothing and if i hit exit, when i go back to the convergance adjustment none of my changes have been saved. Am I doing something wrong ?
