Re[2]: Sony DSC-S40 white LCD screen problem

I know alot of people are knocking the manufacturer over this one.
But I have had many Sony products including a TRV740 Video camera.
I had that TRV740 camera topple off the top of some bleachers while it was on a tripod and crash onto a basketball floor. It is still working, and that was just one of many times it got dropped.
I have had several other Sony products and I must say that design defects are rare, but as we have seen with this particular DSC-S40 they do happen.
