Re: JVC service or questions

I have a JVC AV-32980. Out of nowhere the TV will not turn on. It would not respond to the remote or to simply pressing the ON button on the front of the TV. I checked the power and it was ok. Unplugged it and plugged it back in and nothing. Then, I happened to press the ON and MENU buttons on the front of the TV simultaneously and now the red ON light keeps blinking on and off and making a clicking sound (similar to the click normally associated with the TV turning on and off. Any ideas?

  A flashing timer light on "ANY" JVC brand TV is simply an indication that the power unit has shut down because an internal fault has developed which requires investigation.
  
  (I believe the infamous C926 problem also applies to your model)
