Re: JVC service or questions

Hi, Have the same problem everyone else seems to have with model #av 48wp34
The covergence is messed up. Had a tech come over and said there was a bad diode on the convergence board. He replaced both diodes but when he put the board back in, the tv picture doesnt come on at all and makes thumping noises. Then will go into safe mode. He's said he's worked on many jvc's and never had this happen, as tv was working befor he took part out to repair it. Any Ideas why it goes into safe mode now and makes thumping noises?
