Re: JVC service or questions

I have a JVC model AV36320. I bought it in 2003. It was working fine until the function buttons on the front of the set stopped working, including the on/off button. We had to control the television with a remote. This lasted about two weeks. Now the set does not not power on with the remote either. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the set before this. What could be wrong?
