Re: JVC service or questions

I have a JVC GR-D33U camcorder and when I try to record the LCD and view finder is black and states that the lens cap is on however it isn't. The sound records fine but there is no picture or the picture on the viewfinder shows colored streaks. What could be the problem? I have had this for 2 years.

  Your model can potentially develop a faulty CCD image sensor, however FULL info on this can only be sent to a DIRECT e-mail address and not pasted into a reply box for technical reasons.
