Re: JVC service or questions

I have a JVC camcorder GR-DVM-75
I used an adaptor instead of the camera´s battery. Probably it was a wrong adaptor.
The on light flashed twice and then went off.I took the adaptor off, replaced the battery but the camera doesn´t work now

Any camcorder is put in jeopardy if a non-standard adapter is used to power it unless the person using it has technical knowledge of exactly what he / she is doing.

The least expensive thing you have possibly done is to blow an internal fuse, however depending on how technically incorrect the adaptor was it could have caused other serious damage of an expensive nature.

If the battery you reinserted is known still to have power then I am afraid whats mentioned above is very likely to apply.
