Re: JVC service or questions

I have JVC Model Number DR-MV5SU and the VCR side WILL NOT play on my tv. I have disconnected the thing, taken it to Best Buy, and it worked there, brought it back home and reconnected and it worked for a few days but then went back to not working again. This also happened when we moved to a new house and reconnected it. It seems to work for a few days and then quit. The display alternates between the counter and these letters "U01" (I think, it could be a letter O and a small l, as it is just a straight line). Do you have any idea what the problem is? Thanks.
